She wandered along with him, her head lifting as the salt air brushed away the days of house hunting cobwebs. She couldn’t stop the smiles as the early spring beach bunnies were playing at the edge of water, her eyes stopping on the kids building a sand castle. It was perfect really, so un-rockstar a location that hopefully they'd have a bit of peace when not on the road. "Jon and Katy will be shocked. You a land owner? Kinda figured Mop Top as the homeowner type, but.." She paused a moment then laughed, "Figured you and me would be apartment dwellers forever."
He looked down at her. "Hell no, woman. I need my space and my ocean." He hugged her closer. "One of those crazy things you'll get to know about me."
Her shoulder lifted in a tiny shrug. "Never said it wouldn't be an apartment by the beach love." She glanced up as the boardwalk and town came into view. "Well towns close enough."
He shielded his eyes. A small pier was heavy with foot traffic. "I'd say walk, but hell...that takes too long." He grinned. "C'mon, let's take a drive. Explore a little."
Which of course meant walking back to the house, which was ok by her she needed her shoes to do any walking at all. "Lead the way stud." She laughed as he scooped her up and went willy nilly down the beach, his eyes nearly shining as he memorized what would be home-base for him now. "You know, one day they're gonna figure out you're nuts."
"Nah," he said. "I'm very good at making all doctors laugh. They can't seem to sign the papers for that final padlock on the padded room." He growled and nibbled on her neck. "Mwahhahahha."
Chill bumps raced along her skin at the simple nibble, her eyes closing as she took a sharp breath. Damn if she wouldn't just have at him right here. Blessed man could make her forget everything with the simplest of moves. "So town?"
He climbed the steps of the simple deck. Hmm...there'd need to be work there. He tended to use the deck as a place to relax and there wasn't nearly enough cushy spots or a barbecue that could provide the kind of cooking he did at parties. He set her down. "Yeah, let's just see if I lit enough of a fire under Randy's ass."
She reached up to brush a stray lock of his hair from his face. "You just do that." Leaning her head back she sighed at the feel of the sun against her skin. "I’ll just sit here and relax."
He leaned down and brushed her cheek with a kiss. He wandered the house a bit until he heard Randy's booming voice. Yeah he was probably making all sorts of promises to his boss for this commission.
His hand slid along the aged wood of the banister, the silky feel of it yelling of someone who loved the house prior and kept it up. He couldn't believe he'd finally found the house. All the others had been lovely, but this one was a fit. Sort of like his wife. Unexpected and perfect.
He turned as Randy hung up. "How'd we do?"
"Good, took some wrangling but I think we should be able to seal the deal in about eight days. It's too close to the weekend to get it done this week."
Richie nodded. He'd been willing to give him 10 days, but that was better. He held out his hand. "I knew I could count on you, man."
Randy clasped his other hand over Richie's. "You guys are in a hurry to get planted. Hell, I didn't even know you were married, man."
He smiled. "It's a crazy world, but we fit and this house fits. I'm living a charmed life, my brotha. Keep it charming and find me a decorator to work with Elena and I'll have you so busy you won't know what to do with yourself or your bankroll."
Randy's eyes widened. Hell, Richie could see dollar signs floating where his eyeballs should be. Laughing he slapped his arm. "I knew I could count on you."
"Absolutely!" Randy handed him a few papers. "Here's some paperwork you can start filling out. Let me know what bank you're going to use and fax it over."
"Sounds great." He smiled, shaking his hand again. "Thanks. We really love it. Elena!" He shouted over his shoulder. "Let's head out, babe!"
She jerked straight, blinking against the sun that had lulled her nearly to sleep. Pushing off the chair she wandered in and picked up her shoes and his before moving to Richie. "I'm ready when you are."
He smoothed his hand over her windblown hair. Her eyes had that sleepy, hooded look. "Do you want to just head home?"
She tilted her head into the palm of his hand, rubbing her cheek against his skin there for a moment. "Naah, I’m ok, the sun always makes me drowsy. How'd the paper work go? Do we furniture shop?"
Laughing he leaned down for a kiss. "Randy's going to get you in touch with one of the designers so you don't need to go to a store, just pick it out of a catalogue. You'll finally have something to do while we're touring." He waggled his eyebrows. "Now the bed...that we shop for."
"Naturally." Of course he'd want to bed shop, the bigger the better would be his motto on beds. "You really want to just pick stuff out of a catalogue huh?"
He blinked. "Well, we can shop if you want. I just figured you were getting bored with this stuff."
Her fingers walked up the expanse of chest showing through his shirt. "A home is a place you put together yourself. If someone else does all the choosing then its their place not ours. I was bored with the house shopping, but picking out the things that go into OUR home? Lets do it together ok Pony? Please?"
He hauled her in. God, what'd he done to deserve her? "That sounds like a plan."
She pressed a kiss to his lips, a bright smile whispering onto her lips. "Lots of gauzy curtains and bright colors, well the ones you can see anyhows, lots of pillows and that patio.. " She let go finally and let it fly, "Patio's gotta be bigger, we can't entertain on that small one."
"Just what I was thinking," he said. "Well, about the patio. You can do the pillows and fluffy stuff. Just gotta make sure we have a kick ass grill."
She laced her fingers into his and started to grin. "YOU pick out the stereo, cuz I know, I know, it’s gotta be the biggest loudest thing we own, well except for those stage clothes of yours."
"Stereo we already have. I designed the components with Lumpy." He waggled his eyebrows. "I can let the entire beach hear the Beatles in their entirety."
She muttered as he opened the car door for her, "Better be a bit of Clapton too, or even some OTHER guitarist who might remain nameless."
"What? You think I blare my own shit? Nah, I hear more than enough of it on tour darlin' I don't listen to a note of Jovi on the off hours unless I bump into a song on the radio."
Her eyes widened as a little tidbit of info Dave had fed her worked its way into the moment. "What? No, baby I was talking about Sabo. He offered to record a few instrumentals for me once or so I was told that is." She glanced off as he pulled into a parking slot in town. "He plays a mean guitar ya know."
Richie's eyebrow arched. "Sabo? He couldn't find a G chord if he tied his finger to it."
She opened the car door, the furniture store in front of her calling her name, "Naaah you’re not jealous , not my Pony right?" She laughed quickly a twinkle in her eye. "Just teasing ya babe, seriously if I want instrumental I'll set a cassette recorder in front of you when you're off in composing land."
He followed her in the store, his fingers knotting in her belt loops as he dragged her back into the front of his jeans. "Darlin', I got nuttin' to be jealous about. Snake's only called snake because he slithers." He nuzzled her neck. "Just wait until you see how inspired I get on the all around at the beach."
She snorted as her fingers traced over the nubby fabric of a couch. She could well imagine what kind of inspiration would hit him at a beach, and not all of it would be musical. She pressed back against him slightly, her hips doing a gentle bump, grind and wiggle. "Yeah I just bet its all musical too right?"
"Well I have heard you sing a time or two." He tugged her to the back of the store. "C'mon, let's check out your choir station."
She watched as he strolled through the beds, literally flopping down on each mattress as he went past. Queens were too small, Kings too it seemed, but when he found the California king he sprawled out comfortably. She walked over her palm sliding over the smooth texture of the shiny wood. "Find one you liked there Big boy?"
"I like my bed to be the size of a small lake." He smiled up at her. "More space to chase you around in."
She perched on the side of the bed and laughed. "I'll have to remember to let you chase me a bit then."
He rolled onto his side. "So, are you really happy with the house? Or are you just humoring me?"
She tilted her head as a hand reached out to brush over his hair. "Baby, you could move me into a trailer, or hell a shack and I'd be happy. The house is perfect, its ... well when ya know you know right?"
"Well, if I wanted to live in a trailer I never would have signed up with Jonny." He laughed and rolled off the bed. "It's hard work and I want somewhere nice to come home to. I want someplace nice to build a home with you."
She leaned in and pressed a kiss to that full lower lip that drove her nuts. "I love it Richard ok? Its beautiful. Hell its homey without furnishings, just imagine when we get done with it."
"Each room will have to be carefully," he kissed her, "christened."
She laughed as he pulled her into him and onto the bed. "Richie, its a store!'
She glanced around laughing, not seeing a soul anywhere near. Sneaky son of a gun, always managed to find a way to make her nuts in the weirdest of places, probably one of the reasons she loved him so much. "You’re incorrigible."
He rolled her under him. "What? Like they haven't seen two teenagers fooling around on the beds." He lifted himself just a few inches. "Of course, I'm far more inventive than a teen."
Her hands slid up into his hair as the place literally vanished from her thoughts, her entire being centering in on the one looming above her. "Oh I know that, not something I'm liable to forget any time soon." One slender leg slid up to brush against his side as she grinned. "Lots more fun than a virgin for sure."
He leaned down, nuzzling her neck then earlobe. "Darlin', I thought you loved me as a virgin."
She shivered at the pure force of his essence, a grin slipping onto her lips. "Adored it really I did,"
He raised his hands so they were over her head, resting on his forearms, covering her completely. "I guess I'll have to go with sex god next time."
She bit her lip to hold back the laugh, "You do sex god all the time darlin." God and he did too, he defined the term really, from the long length of him to his soulful brown eyes and beyond. "I think you’re in Webster’s under that word."
"Now that's what I like to hear." He played with her hair, fanning it out so that it teased his hands and arms. "Of course you're name's under tease." He groaned as she wiggled closer. "Yup, definitely tease."
She winked up at him, her hands moving to slide under his shirt, her eyes heating to a golden brown. "I sorta like teasing you, " Her head moved suddenly as the tip of her tongue flashed along his chest. "I think I like this bed."
"Good, I'm glad. I'll start the paperwork," came a voice beside them.
A blush covered her cheeks as she looked up at the salesman, her lashes fluttering as she winked up at him. "Hard to resist the man, really."
"Good thing the springs have a ten year warranty then." he said with a completely straight face.
She managed a winning smile and slightly pushed at Richie. "Pay the man honey."
Richie shrugged and climbed off. "Newleyweds," he said simply.
"I understand," the salesman said gracefully. "I have an amazing sale going on. Follow me."

Chapter 145
She rolled her head to the side and bit back the groan of near exasperation. God damn she was bored to tears. Richie had fallen into house hunting with a passion and they were on their eighth, no ninth.. fuck the tenth house of the day. She'd seen so many bland beige walls she was ready to scream. A house was a house, god what was so different in all the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floor-plans. What the hell difference did it make?
She blinked away the rising whine and managed to put a smile on her face. He wanted the perfect place, she got that. He wanted something they could grow into somehow. She got that too. But what he didn't get is they could live in a tent in a field and she'd be ok. Hell she'd spent her life caged in walls that felt like a prison. Walls just didn’t matter to her, but if finding the perfect home made him happy? Well she'd just have to be happy about it too. Somehow. "Pony? Tell me we're almost there?"
Richie looked up from the directions the realtor had given him. "I think so..." he trailed off. "Did we just pass Beachcomber Street?"
Her brow flicked upwards as she shook her head. "I .. " she pushed herself upright and winced, "Wasn't really watching honey."
He craned his neck. "Damn, I know I saw it." He braked hard as they did a roundabout. Jesus, was this a cul de sac? He was turning into his parents. Sweet fuck.
He finally spotted the little green sign and sat up straight. "There it is. Christ, this is like Yuppilan--" he broke off from the joke when the full view of the house stuck his tongue to the roof of his mouth. "God, look at it, babe!" He turned to his wife, and her patient smile. "No, seriously...look. It's not a cookie cutter home like we've been looking at." He pointed. "That's the real deal right there." He opened his door and grinned over the hood at Elena. "I mean seriously...it's gorgeous, right?"
She glanced over at the house and bit back a laugh. It was as gorgeous as the last nine they'd looked at. Tilting her head she studied it a moment and got it. It wasn't just the house, it was the HOUSE, all aged looking, with obvious beach appeal. As she stepped closer to Richie she saw the tiniest hint of water from beyond the side of the house and tried to not laugh. If it had water it was gorgeous, that was her guy alright.
Wrapping an arm around his waist she laughed as he pulled her towards the front door. Maybe just maybe they'd found the right place finally. "Yeah baby, it’s totally awesome."
Richie opened the door; the hallway had a battered little bench that looked like it had spent a lifetime on the beach. He clasped her hand, dragging her into the great room that flowed into the rest of the house. It was huge and airy, and flooded with light thanks to the fact that half of the back wall was windows looking out on the ocean. "Oh man."
She watched him, his exuberance, and the brightness of his smile as he saw the beach from the window, his pure joy at the perfectness of the house. She couldn’t hold back the grin as he literally bounced from room to room. Three bedrooms or one, it didn’t matter, two bathrooms or ten, didn’t matter. She turned and glanced up the stairwell and took in the pure homey appeal of the empty house and started seeing the type of furnishings that would fit so well with its casual and light spaciousness. "Richie?"
"Hmm?" He pulled his eyes away from the view, knowing their realtor was letting the house sell itself. Randy had to be around there somewhere.
She watched his gaze turn back to the windows and tried to not laugh. "Well, it seems to be a pretty nice neighborhood, but I'd like to see something with more land around it." She started to laugh outright as his face fell, "Just kidding baby. Get this one. I think it’s perfect."
"Yeah?" He smiled, hoisted her over his shoulder and hit the stairs. "Think the previous owners left a bed--" He cleared his throat as a slightly portly man with a bad comb-over walked up. "Hi, Randy."
"You can't screw around in the house, Rich. Jeeeze."
She twisted around best she could and waggled a few fingers the realtor’s way."Hiya Randy."
"Hey, Elena. I'm thinking the big guy likes this one," he asked as he turned back up the stairs. "It's got three bedrooms and three baths," he said, starting his schpiel.
She watched the floor of the house as Richie carried her along the hall. "Master bedroom faces the ocean?" That would sell it, Richie waking to the sounds of the water was the one thing she really wanted. She wiggled slightly on his shoulder and huffed. "Lemme down I wanna see baby."
Richie eased her down, clasping her hand as Randy took them through the rooms. He saved the master for last and he knew in his heart this was the one. He tugged her to the huge picture window, pushing her in front of him, he could see them waking to this every morning.
The sun blazed as it was high noon, but he could see the sunrise and sunset from this angle. It would be amazing. His hands clasped around her as he leaned in. "This is it."
A sweet smile played about her lips as she watched the water through the big bay window, its little cushion window seat begging for a few bright pillows. "I do believe it is husband." She turned and snaked her arms around him smiling, glad he'd finally found a place he felt happy with.
He looked over his shoulder. "Put the paperwork in, Randy. I want it."
"I knew I'd find one for you, Richie. Okay, I'll meet you guys downstairs."
Richie turned back to Elena, his grin wide. "Even a little room to grow into if we go that way." He waggled his eyebrows.
The quietest snort escaped her as he waggled his brows. "With the pure volume of sex, is there any doubt it will head that way one day handsome?" A home, Jesus on a hand-stick, a bonafide house. They were buying a house, a rather big one for them anyhows. "I sure hope you like shopping, decorating and shoving furniture around big guy."
"What else is there to do on the days off?" He took her hand and started dragging her back downstairs. "I gotta see the beach."
She trailed along behind him, taking two steps for every one he made, her laughter bouncing off the bare walls. "It's not gonna go anywhere Richie, gosh, slow down a bit." And that was her Richie, eager and fast, and well slow when it counted. There was beach out back, he had to go see. She'd married a beach bunny of the cutest and sexiest kind.
Toeing off his sneakers he kicked them near the stairs. "Yeah but seriously...the last time I'd been able to get near the water. God, it's been since our honeymoon." He grinned as she bent down to unstrap her cute heels. She was always wearing something to make her just a little taller. When she finally stood nearly three inches shorter, he grinned kissing her nose. "I get you in a bikini too, that's never bad."
She wandered out towards the water, then stopped and glanced back over her shoulder. "You'd keep me naked if you could."
"Well now, if it was that kind of beach...you bet." He gave a comical sigh. "I guess the house will just have to do."
She made a mental note to buy heavy curtains especially for the downstairs and sighed dramatically. "I do hope you realize you are NOT tin foiling the windows?"
"With that view? Hell, I'll stuff my head under a pillow. Or..." he leaned in, putting his face in her hair. "I'll find something else to keep the mornings bearable."
The tiniest laugh whispered over her lips, "I just bet you will, when and IF you ever wake up that early."
"Well, I usually see the best part of morning, the sunrise, then sleep through the rest of it." At her rolling eyes, he laughed. "What? I have sensitive eyes."
Her voice went Connecticut yuppie for the barest of seconds. "Rightt.. all that righteous living, allergies right?" Allergic to being sober on the road was more like it.
He flicked his sunglasses open and put them on his face. "Right, allergies." He smirked. "I say we go head into town and see what's what. Groceries, liquor, clothes...see what's around."
She smiled and nodded before turning to call out to Randy. "So when can this big goof move in?"
Randy leaned over the railing. "I just have to bring the paperwork into the office and get you guys an inspection. I can close in 3 weeks with Richie pre-approved for a loan."
Her gaze flickered to Richie as she waited for it, that Sambora Charm that would try to work the timing into a quicker move in date. "Don't sound too bad Randy. Thanks."
"Well Randy, if you want to do all the work 3 weeks is okay. But if you want me to be here to sign things I say 7days."
Randy's face fell. "No shit?" He stood up. "Lemme go use the phone, see what we can do for my best client."
She shook her head and started laughing. "Cuz theres no such thing as couriers or overnight mails huh Sambora?"
"Shhhh..." he said and bumped her hip. "I'm using my Rockstar status here."
She huffed and slapped his ass slightly. "You're using your I want it and I want it now status honey." She turned back to glance at the ocean and pictured him sunning, her cheeks heating slightly at ideas of late night beach fun. "And you know it."
"Exactly...Rockstar." He winked and trudged up the beach. "C'mon before I plant roots. This will be ours soon enough."

Chapter 144
Richie slid away from his sleeping wife. His belly was growling unbearably and as much as he loved her to distraction, he couldn't take another meal prepared by her. He'd managed to choke down last night's meal...well enough to look like he did.
Luckily she was too busy bustling around making things perfect to notice he'd gone through half a dozen napkins. The last time he'd had to hide food in his napkin had been when he was small enough for his mom to make him eat Brussels sprouts.
Bustling around the kitchen he readied eggs and two ham steaks. Peeling a couple of potatoes he made impromptu hash browns and set the coffee to brew last. Elena could smell coffee at fifty paces.
They'd settled into a routine of sorts. House hunting hadn't exactly been in their plans, but having returned to the little apartment she was sharing with Kate just hammered home the need for their own space.
Even with Kate and Jon gone, the place felt small and cramped. And while Elena had bought a larger bed, he missed his California King. He needed space, even if he would still be crowding her in close on the big bed that would go nicely on the place they'd seen the day before.
It was a sweet house, with a sunrise facing bedroom on the second floor. They had two more to see that day as well. Hopefully they'd make it to this appointment. He'd had to do some fancy storytelling to their realtor for missing the appointment last night. Somehow he didn't think naked desert was reason enough to get by.
She turned over in the bed, feeling the chilliness of the room without his warmth at her back or surrounding her. A slight grin teased her waking face as she thought of how even now months later he still had to have at least every part of his body touching her somehow when they slept. God he was adorable, even when he muttered about the bed. She'd have gotten a bigger one but her bedroom barely fit what they had now, but at least they were looking for something that might suit his need for space more.
Her nose wrinkled as the scent of coffee lured her into a seating position. So that's where he'd went to, he was cooking. Bout damn time he took a turn. The smell of breakfast and coffee drew her up as she started to laugh. He'd tried so hard the night before to hide how he had to eat what she'd fixed, but hell she'd warned him months ago she just wasn’t a cook. A brow arched as she considered going into the kitchen. Maybe just maybe if she pretended to sleep she'd get breakfast in bed, he'd kept her up late after all, his need to play giving rise to yet another inventive game of his. They'd even missed the appointment with the realtor. A brow arched as a wicked thought came to mind and she pulled the tee she'd put on to sleep in over her shoulders and laid back on the bed, twisting the covers so that one leg was revealed to the chilly air. Now let him find her. She closed her eyes and started to count, knowing he'd be in before she ever reached one hundred.
Putting the pans on the back burner to keep them warm, and not overcook breakfast, he poured a cup of coffee, snagging a corner of the ham steak as he headed into their room. He stilled as a long, lean line of leg was the first thing he noticed.
Either his wife was getting like him with the hot flashes or she was still dead to the world. Setting the mug on the bedside table he traced his finger along her calf, then the back of her knee and up into the sheets. "Laaaains," he said on a low breath.
She bit her lip and tried to stay still as the pad of his finger traced her leg. God even that simple a touch had her body screaming. Her nose wiggled as the scent of coffee teased right along with the touch. Shifting slightly she let the covers slip slightly, a little murmur on her lips. "Hmmmm?"
His nose bumped along the sensitive flesh of the back of her knee, flicking out to taste her salty skin. "Hungry?"
She slowly rolled over, her eyes opening to the sight of her husband leaning over her. "Always..." Damn and she was, for him and for breakfast. No matter how often they connected, no matter how often they made love it only made her want him more. It was a constant need, one she never wanted to be free of.
Warring hunger pains vied for attention, but in the end, he scooped her up, with the mug of coffee and handed it to her. "You have no idea how hard that was, but I'm starving for real food."
She leaned into his grasp, her lips gliding over his satiny skin as an actual giggle escaped her. "Just wanted to see how much willpower ya had."
"If I didn't have the constant smell of food in my nose, you would've won," he said and nibbled her neck.
She laughed even as she reached for the cup of coffee and took possession of it, taking her first sip as he carried her to the kitchen. "Well being carried into breakfast is almost as good as getting it served in bed." She took in the little feast and started to smile. "Better yet I didn’t have to burn it to eat it."
Saying nothing, he just grinned. "I figured I'd cook for a change, babe."
"Bout time, I wondered how many more of my fractured to hell meals you'd choke down before you got the message." She grinned as he sat, keeping her on his lap as she reached for a slice of toast and offered him a bite. "I’m good at a lot of things, cooking just ain’t one of them."
Laughing, he took a bite. "Sweet Christ woman, I haven't been a married man for long, but I know one thing. Don't tell her she can't cook."
She smiled as he offered her a piece of the ham, her teeth nipping at his finger as she took the meat and started to chew. "But I told you from the first I hating cooking, now you know why." She wiggled back on his lap and sighed at the tenderness of the meat, and the hardness of what she wiggled on. "So you were forewarned."
"Well, I know you were trying....well I thought you were trying. New house, we have a housekeeper/cook. End of story," he said and groaned. "Killing me here."
She took another sip of coffee and grinned. "I can be still."
"Sure you can," he said and forked in a bit of eggs with a stab of potato. "We have a few houses to see today, and some shopping to do for furniture," he said trying to keep his mind off his little wife's wriggling body.
She nodded as she took a bite of food. "I kinda liked the one yesterday, but we'll look at these last few. No need to furniture shop until we decide on a house. Gosh, a house, now that’s something, never thought I’d be buying; a HOUSE for goodness sakes." She tilted her head and grinned, "Well I'm not buying it, but then I never thought of having a hubby that would either."
"Well, it's our money, so it's our house." Richie said in a voice that brooked no argument. "I never thought I'd have a need for a real place, let alone a house that might have a..." he trailed off, stroking her hair. "Maybe a family, one day."
She leaned back against his chest a sweet little smile on her face, her eyes closing as she pictured just that. "One of each as I recall.. or more if they happened along, and a couple of rocking chairs naturally."
"Naturally," he said and cradled her close. "I never thought I'd be the guy that had a family. Not with the life I lead."
She shook her head, "The life you lead isn’t gonna be like it is now forever, even if you hadn’t met me, you'd have found a way. It's inside you that need to be as good a dad as your dad was. You will be too, I just know it. Your job won’t change that."
He pressed a kiss to her temple. "God, I hope so, baby. I want to be a good husband and father so very badly."
She twisted to face him, her eyes gleaming even as the smile on her lips grew. Even now he still felt insecure. Didn’t he get it? He was the perfect man, gorgeous on the outside and just as awesome within. He kept her safe, he loved her to distraction and he made love like a fiend. He was in one tall lean package the answer to her prayers. Leaning forward she pressed an easy kiss to his chin. "You're already a fantastic husband."
His grin widened, reaching in to press a sweet kiss on her lips. "Well, I'm getting better every day."
She returned the kiss her arms wrapping around him. "Get much better and I don’t know what I'll do." Damn if he wasn't already freaking perfect as it was.
Luckily she was too busy bustling around making things perfect to notice he'd gone through half a dozen napkins. The last time he'd had to hide food in his napkin had been when he was small enough for his mom to make him eat Brussels sprouts.

Chapter 143
Kate arched off the beach, her thigh quaking as his first long, slow stroke left her too sensitive. There was no way she should be this hot, this fast. But with him it was always that way. Always too much. And as always she fought to keep up as his nose bussed her just before the tip of his tongue pressed deep, finding her clit unerringly. "Jesus," she said in a deep, soul draining voice.
His chuckle rumbled in his chest and across his lips as his tongue delved deep for a moment. At her utterance he lifted his head and winked, "Naah, just Jon."
Her fingers twined in his hair as the laugh sparkled like the perfect sand around them. "You're such a shit," she said and ruined it with a growling groan. "My God," she said before she could get the words back. Where had he learned that? And damn if his ego wasn't going to burst in like the tide, she thought distantly as the first orgasm rushed over her. She grabbed for anything to hang onto, but sand simply sifted through her fingers as he honed in on that one spot and blew her through another. Finally she went simply with his name and melted back onto the sand.
He took all she gave and pushed for more, feeling her body tense and undulate against his seeking lips. This was his version of heaven, peace, quiet, sand, ocean sun and his Katy. Nothing else mattered.
Pulling up he slid over her body, his lips touching briefly on hers as her leg slid from his shoulder to wrap around his waist, and when her hips bucked up that one last time he lost control and seated himself deep only to stop and take a breath before he lost it all. "Jesus, ya make me feel like a kid again Katy."
Her arms twined around his neck as she arched up to meet him. "Well that kid is going to get an eye opening experience," she said and flipped him on his back. Rising above him, she slowly lowered herself on his cock, taking care to let him see each and every inch slide inside.
His jaw clenched and she watched his summer sky eyes go dark as twilight. He reached up to cup her breasts, but she stilled his hands, lacing their fingers instead. His other hand came up and she did the same. Palm to palm she pushed against him, riding slowly.
His eyes darted from her face, to the way they fit together. She could tell he wanted to watch, but the intimacy was drawing him back to her. "Watch me," she whispered, hovering there just before taking him deep.
His eyes narrowed against the sun, yet managed to center on the woman above him, the very sight of her causing his heart to nearly trip out of his chest. Her skin gleamed with the brightness of the sun, that glorious hair of hers turning to fire as the breeze lifted it from her face. He groaned as she viced, his hips unable to stay still as he moved to meet the insistent downward movements of her deadly hips, and even as his mind spiraled out of control, he memorized the very picture of her and pulled it close to his mind and heart.
She let her head tip back, her hair tickling the tops of his thighs as she tipped forward. The friction of his coarse hair, along her bare mound had her screaming her way through another orgasm. Vicing hard onto him, she dropped her hands to his chest, riding quicker, watching is eyes shatter.
He caught the back of her head, their mouths fusing as his groan rumbled from his throat. He dropped back, his chest heaving. She sucked back her own gulping breath as she eased him out of her, her lips finding his nipple as she drew on him gently before pressing her cheek into the fur there.
"You know you're supposed to save your throat," she said on a pant. "Growls should be avoided," she managed to say around a laugh.
He grunted, his eyes closing as the laugh rose. "Yeah you say that now."
"Whoops, my bad," she said letting her knees slide in the sand until she was comfortable. His hand coasted along her back to the curve of her ass then back again. "I'm glad we did this." She popped her head up, leaning her chin on her folded hands. "We needed it."
He pulled her closer, his breath still ragged as a lazy grin coasted onto his lips. "Gonna need more, just soon as I catch my breath."
Grinning, she tightened her knees at his hips. "You're such a shit, you know what I mean. Not that the sex wasn't melt my brain hot."
Tilting his head he took a nibble along her chin. "Just wait til I'm rested up Katy, I'll show ya hot."
She pressed a soft, slow kiss on his lips. Taking her time to get a thorough taste of that lower lip that drove her nuts, she finally fell back. "I'll make sure you're so well rested you'll be sick of me."
He pulled her tighter to him, his voice going quiet, "I don't think I'll ever get enough to be sick of you."
God, I hope not. She almost let it go. Almost said it out loud, instead she brushed her nose against his. "I'll remind you of that statement when I make you rest all week." She grinned into his mouth. "Of course that's between therapy sessions of the naked kind."
His grin widened as he reached up to brush a finger along her cheek. "I'll hold ya to that Katy." He watched her as she moved up onto her knees and knew that he’d gotten lucky she’d changed her opinion formed that first night. Now he didn’t know exactly what he’d do if it wasn’t for Katy being in his life. Shit for that matter he needed to be thankful to Elena, she’d relented and forgiven Richie, had that not happened he would have lost his chance with his sweet Kate.
She groaned and rose onto her knees. Sweet Mary, that's gonna hurt later. Her full breasts swung in the gentle ocean breeze, and she smiled down as he lifted his head to capture a nipple. She skimmed her fingers into his hair, savoring the intimate touch. No drive for more, just tasting her because he could.
She leaned back on his thighs as he followed her up, his arms circling her waist, her knees aching fiercely from the cramped drive and the beach acrobatics. But still she didn't want to stop. The closeness was new and she was afraid to let it go.
The few days she'd spent in Philly were in a constant phase of interruption from something or someone. This was him and her, just them...no interruptions. She let her thumb coast over his cheekbone and down the faintest of smile-lines at his mouth. Tracing that lower lip, she smiled as he scraped the pad of her thumb and sucked it into his mouth gently. She felt an answering hardness swell against her belly and she nibbled on her lower lip. "Why don't we take that little thought inside, I need a shower." She wrinkled her nose. "I swear I have sand in places that should never even think about having sand be there."
He nodded as his eyes heated. "I kinda have to admit I agree with
that." he glanced down and snorted at the fine coating of sand that had even managed to get onto his chest. "Some places don’t need sanding.'
Rolling off of him she grabbed her clothes, watching his deliciously toned butt do the same, she grinned. Not bothering to put them back on, she climbed the steps, a quick gasp turned into a laugh as he slapped her butt playfully. "That's it, no shower-time fun for you," she said over her shoulder.
He scooted in closer; then rubbed along her skin, a wicked light settling in his eyes. "Wanna bet?"
His chuckle rumbled in his chest and across his lips as his tongue delved deep for a moment. At her utterance he lifted his head and winked, "Naah, just Jon."
